Landscaping services

Commercial landscaping that survives a California summer

Weekly grounds crews, tree and shrub care, irrigation that is checked rather than assumed, seasonal colour and the debris gone before Monday. Added in 2022 because clients asked for the same crew standard outside the building.

What landscaping from UFG looks like

A crew on a weekly route with a written scope: mow, edge, blow, prune, check the irrigation controller and the drip lines, note what is dying and why. Seasonal work, such as mulching, colour rotations and leaf season, is on the calendar. Irrigation is managed, not just repaired: controllers are set by season and water use is reported where the site meters it. The same account manager who audits the building audits the grounds.

Questions people ask

Do you do landscape design and installation?

Yes, for commercial sites: planting plans, turf conversions, irrigation installs and hardscape through our partners. Routine maintenance is the core of the service.

How do you handle water restrictions?

Controllers are programmed to the local schedule and the season, drip replaces spray where it makes sense, and we recommend turf conversions where turf is not used.

Can you landscape a site you do not clean?

Yes. Many clients start with grounds only.

Do you use electric equipment?

Battery blowers and trimmers where a client or city requires them; the quote states the equipment.

Which regions have grounds crews?

All six, with the longest-running routes in the South Bay, Monterey and Sacramento.
