Closing the Loop

Weekly grounds routes for campuses, office parks, schools and clinics, irrigation managed under the local water district's schedule, drought-tolerant conversions where turf is unused, and seasonal colour at entrances. Run from the Santa Clara headquarters.

South Bay campuses were landscaped to impress and are expensive to water. We keep the entrances and the visible lawns and convert what nobody walks on to drought-tolerant planting, reset controllers to the district schedule each month, and run drip where spray wastes. Schools get fields and playgrounds on the route; clinics get entrances and parking kept tidy daily.
