Facility service terms and policies
The key terms, conditions and policies that govern our facility services, so clients and our team are aligned from the start. Your signed service agreement is the binding document; this page summarises what it covers.
Service agreement terms
Each agreement states the length of the service contract, renewal conditions, and options for early termination with or without cause.
Compliance with laws and regulations
All services are performed in accordance with federal, state and local laws, including health and safety regulations. Our policies cover OSHA regulations, worker safety and insurance coverage, and all work is conducted within the legal framework of the regions we serve.
Employee and contractor responsibilities
The agreement defines the responsibilities of United Facilities Group and its employees, client expectations, and communication protocols, including the account manager's weekly audit and the work-order portal.
Indemnification and liability
Each agreement includes an indemnification clause to protect both parties in cases of property damage or bodily injury during service, and states the insurance coverage carried.
Payment and billing
Terms of payment, late fees, and adjustments based on square footage or changes in service requirements are set out in the agreement. Prevailing-wage contracts are bid and billed at prevailing wages.
Termination and contract adjustments
Either party may terminate or modify the contract under the procedures in the agreement, which include steps for resolving issues before termination. Scope changes agreed in a quarterly business review are recorded as adjustments.
Why clear terms benefit clients
Clear terms prevent misunderstandings and align expectations from the start. Indemnification and liability clauses protect your business and our team. Options for adjustment and termination give you flexibility as your facility needs change. Adherence to laws and regulations ensures the services meet legal and safety standards.
SMS terms
If you opt in, we will send you SMS messages about quotes, scheduling and service updates and, if you consent, promotions. We process your mobile number, opt-in and opt-out status, message content and delivery metadata to operate the programme and comply with carrier and legal requirements. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Opt out at any time by texting STOP or by contacting info@ufgworks.com. We keep consent records (form URL, checkbox text, IP address, timestamp) to document compliance. We may use service providers to deliver messages on our behalf under contracts that limit them to our instructions. We do not sell SMS data. The full programme terms are on the SMS Terms page.
