Facility services that work around the line

Production-area cleaning at shift change, dust control that keeps product and people out of trouble, maintenance of the building around the equipment, waste and recycling by stream, and the OSHA paperwork done. Kawasaki is a client; East Bay and Central Valley plants are our core.

What is different about a plant

Two UFG team members in navy UFG pullovers and caps, seen from behind, watch a colleague run a floor scrubber down the hall

The schedule is the line's, not ours. Scopes are written around shift changes, planned shutdowns and audits; crews are trained on lockout and the client's safety rules before the first shift. Dust is the usual problem in Central Valley warehouses and food plants; the dust-control programme is the heart of those scopes.

Questions people ask

Do you maintain production equipment?

No. We maintain the building and the areas around equipment; equipment maintenance stays with your engineers or OEM vendors, whom we coordinate and escort if you want.

Can you work during a shutdown?

Yes. Shutdown projects such as high dusting, floor work and deep cleans are scheduled in the quarterly review.

Do you handle food-safe cleaning?

Yes, for food-processing plants in the Central Valley, with approved chemistries and documentation.

Can you reduce the dust in our warehouse?

Yes. Sweeper routes, high dusting, matting and filter management are written into the scope, and the weekly audit tracks it.
