United Facilities Group

United Facilities Group, Santa Clara

The people who keep your building running

Janitorial, building maintenance, facilities management and landscaping for Northern California workplaces. One account manager, a weekly site audit, and a crew that has been doing this since 1998.

What we do

Four services, one point of contact

Most clients start with one service and add the rest when they see the same crew, the same manager and the same weekly report behind all of them.

What is in it for you

How an account runs at UFG

This is the part most facility companies describe in adjectives. We would rather describe the week.

  1. A dedicated account manager

One person owns your site. They know the building, the crew and the contract, and they answer the phone.

  2. A weekly site audit

Your account manager walks the site every week with a checklist. Anything missed goes to the coach on shift that night and is confirmed fixed.

  3. A work-order portal

Submit requests, see what is scheduled, see what was done, ask for a quote on extra work. No email chains.

  4. A quarterly business review

Every quarter we sit down with you, go through inspection scores and tickets, and agree what changes next.

Industries

Buildings with rules of their own

A hospital, a cleanroom and a museum gallery are not cleaned the same way. Each industry page says what changes.

Where we work

South Bay, San Francisco and the Peninsula, East Bay, Sacramento, Santa Cruz and the Monterey Coast, and the Central Valley. Crews are local to each region; the Santa Clara and Monterey offices run them.

We believe in delivering more than services. We deliver trust, accountability and results. Quality assurance is not about meeting standards; it is about exceeding them to build partnerships that last.

Questions people ask

What areas do you cover?

The Bay Area (South Bay, San Francisco and the Peninsula, East Bay), Sacramento, Santa Cruz and the Monterey Peninsula, and the Central Valley around Fresno, Stockton and Modesto. Our offices are in Santa Clara and Monterey.

Are you union or non-union?

Non-union. We bid at prevailing wages, and eligible employees get health, vision and dental insurance, sick time and paid time off.

Do you use subcontractors?

Only for specialised work outside our in-house trades, and only partners we have worked with for years. Everything else is our own crew.

How fast do you reply to a quote request?

Within one business day. For a site walk, we usually schedule inside the same week.

Who owns UFG?

Al Cuevas founded the company in 1998 and still runs it. UFG is family-owned and a certified Minority Business Enterprise; it is not a franchise.

Tell us about your building

A site walk takes about an hour. You get a written scope, a schedule and a price, and the name of the account manager who would run it.
