Careers

Start on a crew. See where it goes.

The founder started as a janitor. Account managers, coaches and site managers at UFG started on crews. We hire for janitorial, maintenance and grounds roles in six Northern California regions, and we promote from within when we need a supervisor or a manager.

Questions people ask

How do I apply?

Use the form below with your name, phone, email, the role you want and a resume if you have one. If your experience matches an open role, someone from human resources calls you with the next steps.

Do I need experience?

Not for crew roles. You are trained on site by a coach. Technician and management roles ask for relevant experience.

Do you hire in my area?

We hire in the South Bay, San Francisco and the Peninsula, the East Bay, Sacramento, Santa Cruz and Monterey, and the Central Valley.

Are shifts nights or days?

Both. Offices and schools are mostly nights; hospitals and plants run day and night shifts; day porters work business hours.

Is the application in Spanish available?

Call 408-588-1537 and ask for human resources; we take applications by phone in Spanish.
