Museums and art centers

Cleaning around the exhibits, not on them

Galleries and exhibit spaces cleaned with pH-neutral products, non-abrasive tools and protective barriers; lobbies, cafes and restrooms kept up with thousands of visitors a day; events set up and cleared the same night. The Computer History Museum is on our client list.

The rules come from the collection. Crews on museum accounts are trained on the curator's do-not-touch list, the approved products and the barriers before the first shift; the coach walks the galleries with the checklist each night. Public areas are the other half of the job: a museum lobby on a Saturday sees more traffic than most offices in a week, so restrooms and high-touch surfaces run on a day schedule.

Questions people ask

Will your crew touch the exhibits?

No. Exhibits, artefacts and artworks are never touched; the scope defines what is cleaned around them and with what.

Can you support evening events?

Yes. Porters during the event, clean-up after, and a reset before opening.

What products do you use in galleries?

pH-neutral cleaners and non-abrasive tools approved by your conservation team; the list is part of the scope.

Do you maintain the HVAC in galleries?

Filter management and rounds, with set points respected; controls work goes to your vendor or ours, escorted and logged.
